On 11 August 2026, students from JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) officially began their Student Exchange Programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, with their participation in the International Symposium on Public Health with International Community Services 2.0.
The first day provided students with valuable opportunities to expand their knowledge and gain international exposure through a series of insightful plenary sessions. The sessions explored a range of topics related to public health, allowing students to learn alongside participants from different institutions and countries.
Throughout the programme, students also took part in networking and interactive activities, providing opportunities to exchange ideas, establish new connections, and engage with fellow participants from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
The day concluded with an institutional visit to Pusat Kanser Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, further enriching the students’ exposure and understanding of healthcare within an international setting.
The first day marked a meaningful start to the students’ exchange journey in Penang, setting the stage for further academic, professional, and cultural learning experiences throughout the programme.
