JCHS Makes History with Inaugural Sports Day 2026

On 4 June 2026, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) celebrated a historic milestone with the successful staging of its first-ever Sports Day, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a day of friendly competition, teamwork, and community spirit.

Students proudly represented their respective Houses—Nyros, Skyris, Fortis, and Titans—in a series of sporting events and activities that showcased determination, resilience, and sportsmanship. Throughout the day, the campus came alive with enthusiastic cheers from supporters and spirited performances on the field, reflecting the vibrant and united culture of JCHS.

Following an exciting competition, Fortis and Titans were crowned joint champions after finishing with equal points. Skyris secured the title of 1st Runner-Up, while Nyros claimed 2nd Runner-Up. The impressive performances of all four Houses highlighted the commitment and teamwork demonstrated by every participant.

More than a sporting event, the inaugural Sports Day served as a celebration of unity, perseverance, and the strong sense of belonging that defines the JCHS community. The occasion provided students with an opportunity to strengthen friendships, foster House pride, and create lasting memories beyond the classroom.

JCHS extends its heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their outstanding effort, enthusiasm, and exemplary sportsmanship. The college also expresses its sincere appreciation to the organising committee, staff, volunteers, and everyone whose dedication and hard work contributed to the success of this landmark event.

As the first Sports Day in the college’s history, the event marks the beginning of what is expected to become a cherished annual tradition, strengthening the bonds within the JCHS community while promoting holistic student development through sports and healthy competition.
