JCHS helped me improve my confidence in leading and become a considerate member of society.
1. Tell us your full name and what program you are currently taking.
My name is Nusrah Aliyah Nabillah Binti Abdur Rahman and I’m taking the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
2. How is it like studying at JCHS?
Studying in JCHS has been an enlightening due to the student-centred learning.
3. What’s your favorite spot on campus and why?
The sitting area outside class and the library has a really comfortable atmosphere so they’re my favourite spot to study and collaborate for school work.
4. Although quite recently, what are the things you like about JCHS?
I love the opportunities present for extracurricular activities such as JPMC Cancer Walk, Bn on The Move and International Nurses and Midwife day 2024 at PJSC.
5. Can you share a memorable or funny moment you’ve had at JCHS?
The most memorable moment was when I became an AJK during JCHS Open Day 2024 and I could promote the school to people of varying backgrounds.
6. How do you balance your studies with social activities or hobbies?
To make sure I do my responsibilities on time, I have to manage my time properly and follow a set schedule to ensure I still have a social life outside school.
7. Who has been your biggest inspiration or mentor at JCHS?
Ma’am Tess is my favourite mentor as she is very passionate in her teaching and is open for communication outside of school hours.
8. What do you do to relax and unwind after a long day of classes?
After class, I generally need a moment to just relax and rest which I do either by sleeping or painting.
9. How has JCHS helped you grow personally and professionally?
JCHS helped me improve my confidence in leading and become a considerate member of society.
10. What do you hope to achieve at JCHS, and what are your goals and dreams?
Nursing is my end goal and I hope JCHS can help me to achieve my dream to be a dependable nurse that the people can trust.
11. Can you give tips and advice on how you maintain good grades in your studies?
I pay attention during classes and ask questions, during and after class, to ensure I fully understand before I review back at home. I also tend to teach my friends so that both parties can earn understanding.
12. Would you recommend your family and friends to enroll in JCHS?
I highly recommend everyone interested in healthcare to give JCHS a try!
