On 12th August 2024, we are excited to share the success of our recent Students’ Acquaintance Day, held at Dewan Riadah – Pusat Belia. This event was a wonderful opportunity for students at JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) to come together, forge new connections, and strengthen the sense of community within our college.
The event kicked off with warm and inspiring speeches from our Dean, Rachelle Sarmiento, and the Student Council’s President, Dayangku Amalina binti Pg Hj Yussof. Both speakers emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and making the most of the college experience. Their words set the tone for a day focused on building relationships and celebrating the collective spirit of our student body.
A highlight of the day was the presentation of certificates to all the members and committees of the Student Councils. This recognition was a token of appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the college. It was a proud moment that underscored the value of student leadership and involvement in creating a vibrant campus life.
The event also featured engaging performances by the Performance Arts Committee, showcasing the diverse talents of our students. These performances added an extra layer of excitement to the day, reflecting the creativity and enthusiasm that define our college community.
To help break the ice and encourage interaction between new and current students, the Student Council organized a series of fun and interactive activities. These activities were designed to foster teamwork, communication, and camaraderie, making it easy for students to get to know each other in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The energy and laughter shared during these sessions were a testament to the event’s success in creating lasting connections.
As the day concluded, there was a shared sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the year ahead. The bonds formed during Students’ Acquaintance Day are sure to enhance the college experience for everyone involved.
