JPMC College of Health Sciences Welcomes Participants of the Hybrid Regional Training Programme organized by SEAMEO VOCTECH

On 14th February 2025, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) was honored to welcome participants of the Hybrid Regional Training Programme on Fostering Transformational and Digital Leadership Skills, organized by SEAMEO VOCTECH.

As part of their visit, participants were given a tour of the JCHS facilities, which included visits to the simulation ward, operating simulation ward, laboratories and library. They also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences, such as performing CPR on a training dummy and participating in a childbirth demonstration using Noelle, the college’s birthing simulator doll. Additionally, there was a demonstration by the students using the Body Interact, showcasing how healthcare professionals are trained to handle various scenarios in a safe, controlled environment. These activities provided valuable insights into real-world medical procedures and enhanced their understanding of healthcare training methodologies.

In addition to the practical experiences, participants had the opportunity to engage in meaningful interactions with students. The exchange provided an excellent platform for knowledge-sharing and discussions on digital transformation in education, a key topic in today’s rapidly evolving academic landscape.

The visit highlighted JCHS’s commitment to developing future healthcare leaders and fostering strong collaborations with regional and international institutions. It also reinforced the importance of embracing digitalization and innovation in healthcare education.

JCHS extends its gratitude to the participants for their visit and hopes they had a valuable and insightful experience at the college.
