JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) proudly joined the grand celebration of Brunei’s 41st National Day, standing alongside institutions and organizations to honor the nation’s rich heritage, unity, and progress. This momentous occasion brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate our nation’s achievements and bright future.
With unwavering patriotism, JCHS students, accompanied by our Dean, Ms Rachelle Sarmiento and lecturers, marched with pride, dressed in maroon and gold, carrying Brunei’s flag high as a symbol of their dedication to the country at Taman Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien. Their participation reflected not only their commitment to the healthcare profession but also their deep love and loyalty to Brunei.
A defining highlight of the event was the proud moment when JCHS marchers had the honor of presenting themselves before His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam a moment filled with immense pride and gratitude. Marching in unison, representing JCHS in front of Brunei’s beloved monarch, was a deeply inspiring experience that reinforced the college’s commitment to serving the nation.
The event was a powerful display of Bruneian pride, featuring vibrant cultural performances, impressive marching contingents, and artistic showcases that highlighted the nation’s history and aspirations. Every step taken in the parade was a tribute to our nation’s resilience, harmony, and collective progress, reinforcing the values of unity and national identity.
