About the Program

The BSN is a three-year program consisting of general education and professional courses. Professional courses are spread through in sequential progression from the first year through the third year with emphasis on the nursing concepts with corresponding Related Learning Experience (RLE). The BSN program provides an intensive nursing practicum that will refine further the nursing competencies to ensure achievement of the BSN program outcomes required of an entry level nurse.

Program Requirements

Minimum of 2 A-Levels English-medium academic subjects (or equivalentt*): 

·      Grade C or above.

·      Including one of the following subjects:

·           Biology

·           Chemistry

·           Physics

·           Mathematics 

Or

Foundation in Science Certification with a QPA of 1.2

Or

Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery

·           With or without nursing experience

·           To be considered for exemption of modules if and where appropriate 

Or

Recognized Higher National Diploma in Sciences or National Diploma in Sciences or its equivalent 

Or

Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by BDNAC AND pass entrance test by JCHS

For students of non-English speaking background:

·      C6 in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level examination

 Or

      ·      Grade ‘B’ in IGCSE English

Or

    ·      IELTS Score of 6.5
