Qualification and Educational Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or any related field.
  • ACCA or other relevant professional certifications is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Candidates who have equivalent qualifications through education and/or experience may be considered for assignment to this position.

Preferred Skills:-

  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the accounting field.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software such as SAP and databases.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
  • Deadline-oriented.

Roles And Responsibilities:-

  • Review of work procedures and making changes where necessary to increase efficiency of accounting/finance/billing tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and papers for Board of Directors meetings, including financial reports, budget updates, and other relevant financial information.
  • Analyze and summarize financial performance data for Board review, highlighting key insights, trends, and potential risks.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Perform costing analysis to evaluate the financial implications of new projects, programs, and operational activities, ensuring accurate cost structures and resource allocation.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, investment accounts, and other financial records on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with college policies, accounting standards and relevant financial regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the timely submission of necessary documents and addressing audit findings as required.
  • To liaise with the Accounts Section on the collection period of the debtors and monitor the promptness of payment to creditors.
  • Monitor and analyse the monthly financial statements against Approved Budget.
  • Performs all other duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Roles And Responsibilities:-

  • Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and contractual terms.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies between vendor accounts and internal records.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records, ensuring proper filing and documentation for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing queries and concerns related to invoicing, payments, or discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing reports for management ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes, including providing necessary accounts payable documentation and reconciling outstanding liabilities.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline accounts payable functions and enhance efficiency.
  • Perform all other duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
  • Any other assignments will be assigned from time to time.

Roles And Responsibilities:-

  • Assists/shadowing lecturers preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, any other educational activities.
  • Collaborating with other faculty members to improve teaching methods and expand the knowledge base.
  • Providing teaching support to lecturers and students.
  • Participating in teaching opportunities and initiatives at the institution.
  • Help with setting up classroom equipment and materials.
  • Assist in creating a positive learning environment in both the classroom and online platforms.
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
  • Upload and organize course content on Canvas.
  • Manage assignments, quizzes, and other learning resources.
  • Any other assignments will be assigned from time to time.
